    Backpack instead of Quiver

I recently implemented Backpack in my Angband variant for fun.
Its based on 3.0.6 so no quiver here. Aaand I like that idea very much.
Instead of having quiver for Archers, you have general inventory for
wands/ammo/potions/scrolls. Loot you can put into Backpack.

Backpack mechanic is simple, you cannot use items directly from Backpack.
Only identify, examine and drop is allowed. There is also special command
called Move to allow moving items between Inventory and Backpack.

I guess it makes game more easy as you can carry more loot to the town

    Any tought about it?

You might as well just increase the amount of gear slots. But having limited equipment is a useful limitation, IMO.

Hmm, I think you cant (or at least its not easy) due to keeping Angband
compat with 80x24 terminals. So you just can have 23 inventory slots.

Its same with stores. I increased amount of stuff you can keep items
per room to 42 items (3x14). You just need to hit space to scroll pages.
      Stores have 28 items (2x14).

Yeah, its all about game style of player (personal stuff). Im packrat player.
I love exploring stuff and finding gear, comparing, choosing. Not fun to throwing
some rare object just because you are running out of slots.
