I love these monster hotels. All those uniques checked in for the night. There's Gothmog hitting the mini-bar hard. Omarax struggling with the wi-fi code but too embarrassed to call reception, oooh! the Witch King has just found the chocolate on his pillow - he's saving that as a little treat for later.

Here's one. Forgot to make a screen dump before using all my rods of Detection.

There are Nether Hounds filling upper corners, and a few big Qs scattered about. This is after Gothmog drilled thru the entrance from within. Later, a greater Balrog nuked ke from orbit, bringing me down to 300 HP and leaving a steam of lava across the bottom large cavern. (Mostly haymless--I phased out of there with complete safety.) I have 10 rods of TO, and was down to 3 charges at one point. By the end, the interior was Swiss cheese, from Balrogs, a Reaver, and me avoiding the lava.

Plus, the Balrog of Moria and some other unique arcane slinger are snoozing up in the NE corner of the level.

I poked around this one a bit and found what was creating the -7 treasure feeling: a !Augmentation of course.

The Cat Lord was sitting on it. Of course.

He got a taste of -TO jam, of course.

These vaults with unusual patterns of doors and/or traps seem more common in 4.0.5, or is it just me?

Yea, until this one, the only 9-? feeling levels I got had graveyards with OOD undead. I approached this one from the SE and saw the z's and thought it was another.

After collecting this nice group photo, I left the way I came...

It's a shame that the screen dump feature doesn't also dump the monster list. Then there'd be no reason to use third party image repositories.

haha, it looked inferior but if you only knew what was hidden in those measly 17 red *s... after raiding this vault I went and had Sauron and Morgorth on toast
