CL38 Dunadan priest on dlev 41 fighting a Maia which shape shifted into a time vortex who is blasting me with time. Fighting on auto pilot, not paying much attention. Experience loss is no problem, I will restore as soon as this is over. Oops, wait my hit points are getting too low, I better heal next round. -space- -space- You die.... How fast things go bad in this game! I haven't died in quite a while. Priest is sort of dull in 4.2 with only 2 town prayer books, and doing big damage is always an issue, but he found a beefy Crossbow of Power and had a quite decent bunch of equipment including early ESP, a great thing for a priest. Ah well, maybe I'll try necromancer.
