+50 damage +50 HPs or the basic resists?

So I found two pretty shields in/near some kind of vault - one on the floor, one left by the Queen Bee, Celegorm and Haradrim. Ideally I would wear Haradrim b/c it gives me resist poison, greater con, dex, str and thus greater damage and HP's; But as equipped I would lose RF, RC and RL I also found Careth Asdriag - which is a major boost for the transformation from pure orb thrower to melee in my character.

I think I should wear Celegorm until I find another resistance object (cloak or helm - tough to change out armor because Thalketoth gives me my only real speed)

Attempting my first character dump. I appreciate any advice you can give me...

Upload the dump in the ladder, more people will look at it than if they need to download

Speed is king. But in a situation like this, I'd be very tempted to think of Thalkettoth as negotiable, because having full rBase *and* rPois *and* the extra melee is such a good deal, especially on a grindy @ (which this seems to be) who can kill most of the monsters she meets and can reasonably reach a point where no single at-depth breath can insta-kill them, but who will also meet a lot of monsters due to the grinding.

For now, yes, keep Celegorm and watch out for drolems.

I guess my style is grinding as it was how I learned to play Moria
(always clear every level or an artifact may disappear forever...)

how did you know my @ was "grindy"?

And I've uploaded the @ to the ladder - do I post a link here or do people just read the new ladder posters

The replace Thalkettoth is theoretical now - as I don't have any Rarmor - but I should probably find some - now a cloak or helmet that does the same would also be handy. I love RPois

It's a very strong @ for the depth - CL 33, good HP, bags of SP, several high stats, decent gear - and usually the stronger an @ is for the depth, the more grinding that @ has done. Turncount also matches, and the @ is clearly built for fighting enemies rather than dodging them.

I've seen (and played!) much slower and grindier characters than this But it's still on the grindy side of the spectrum rather than the dive-y side; a diving enthusiast would be much deeper on an @ like this, though the lack of ESP (and needing to rely on prayers for See Invis) might have them a little worried.

            BTW

Dara died - breathed on by some form of baselisk at 2K

I think I'll try a rogue and try and play a more divy style

The truth is I come from D&D (mostly paladins) and playing a character that runs away a lot is... not in my nature.
