Brand new wiki

Straight out of the box at https://wiki.angband.live/ with absoloutely no content yet at all. You can register an account and start editing though.

I would dissuade anyone from creating eg pages for individual monsters/artifacts etc, we can auto-generate that kind of thing in the future.

I will write some kind of a landing page myself and I guess a few examples of the kind of articles that would need to be human-written.

Note: I have to also configure an SMTP server to send emails to allow verification for registration, so it doesn't actually really work yet, bear with me.

wiki.js seems like very much a work in progress though, a lot of normal wiki functionality is marked as "coming soon". (And I'm mentioning the page here because its existence is not very obvious on the wiki itself.)

Yes it is a beta, we can upgrade when new releases come out though.

This will definitely require some hacking but DavidMedley has volunteered to hack for us.

Okay using administrative powers I've made rodent/sideways and pete administrators too.

Admin panel allowed me to customise the navigation and I've just put subwindows there as a bare example.

I might be persuaded to replace this with something less modern and more mature, but would save all the content before doing so.

Okay nobody post anything more until further notice I'm going to get us better software and repost the articles we already have.

Okay we have an actual mature wiki platform now, I've required editors to make accounts but there's no email verification. If previous authors have copies of their articles and can re-upload them that would be very helpful, otherwise I'll grab things from the previous failed wiki.
