I sold ring of escape +4 speed that was cursed with steel skin and another curse for 5k to Inglorian the Mage, but when I tried to sell him an uncursed ring it only fetched like 2500 or whatever. And the guy was selling my cursed ring for 8k.

the reason is that the bonus from the curse is bigger than the penalty from the curse.
steel skin makes you resistant to ... fire? to something; but it also makes you conduct electricity, ergo less resistance to lightning. So, it's not a bug.
this has been discussed before, i believe that curses should be flat out bad, but at the moment they can be a great source of income at the lower levels, as a mundane item can sell for 1k or more."i can take this dracolich" -
The simple way to do this is by eliminating selling entirely. Then you never get more than 0 per cursed item.Comment
