Angband with a usb snes controller - suggestions for keymapping

Hi, I've been playing angband for android with a cheap snes controller through usb and would like to know any suggestions for how you guys map keys? This doesn't have to be for the android port, just any that use controllers.

    For reference my setup is:

    X - pick up
Y - virtual keyboard (android only)
    B - escape
    A - enter
    L - search
    R - rest
    Select - inventory
    Start - equip

    Thanks.

I think to make Angband remotely playable with just a controller would require major code changes rather than just a keymap. For example, Angband has separate keys for using wands, staves, rods, scrolls, potions, and activation abilities on equipment. To play with a controller, I'd need to be able to replace all of these with a single "use object" key, and that would require substantial code rewrite. Which might be worth doing even for the main Vanilla codebase, as having all these different keypresses to do basically the same job doesn't really provide any benefit.
