    Setting up subwindows on Ubuntu

    Hi,
    I am trying to compile/setup Angband on Ubuntu 16.04. (I'm fresh new linux user)
    I am able to compile and run program.
    I am not able to setup subwindows.

    When game start, there is only main window. I presume I have set something wrong in ./configure while compiling, but I can't find out what.

    I can not find x11-settings.prf on the computer...
    I have x11 enabled

    Thanks

    Press = while in game.

    Go to Subwindow Setup, do some setup, then Esc, go to previous menu and "Save subwindow setup to pref file".

    Ctrl-x to save & exit game.

    Start like:
    src/angband -mx11 -- -n6

    (6 is the number of subwindows you want, change to your needs)

    PS: Positions are not saved, or at least it didn't worked for me

      Thanks redlumf, this process doesn't work for me. Subwindows just do not popup.
      After I load the file the setings in the "=" menu are marked correctly, but subwindows just do not popup.
