A nexus vortex scrambled my mage which suddently was major dextrous but only medium smart (which ruinied my game).

Does the effect wear off or is it removeable in some way?

I noticed the status "scrambled" which to my memory was not available in earlier versions.

Used to be permanent. Now temporary.

It's a pretty brief effect. It's only truly dangerous when you lose strength and things start double moving you.

The old, permanent effect was extremely rare (10% of unresisted nexus breaths that also failed a saving throw), and permanently swapped two stats. The new effect happens IIRC every time you get hit by an unresisted nexus breath (no saving throw), and swaps all stats, but is temporary.

It's still nasty enough that nexus is by far the most important resistance after the big 5. You really don't want to be losing your main stats or getting bounced around levels.

Cool done ... a temporary effect does not ruin the whole game. Cool done again!
