as i understand it, rods zap at a different distance based on your character level; and the same way all detect spells work, the higher your CL, the further away you zap.
but, do all rods have the same distance multiplier? if i zap a rod of treasure detection, and a rod of mapping, does my treasure detect go as far exactly as my mapping does?
i think i noticed Rods of Detection having a shorter range than, for example, Treasure Detection.
