Is there an exhaustive list of blunted weapons for my priest?

I keep buying weapons that are not and then have to sell them again

You could always go check out object.txt in the data files. Anything "hafted" is priest suitable.

Any weapon type that is sold in the temple is suitable for priests.
Plus all blessed weapons.

I have no idea to find the object.txt on mac, but by looking in the temple, I am learning which weapons are useful.

While this won't help you in shops, weapons represented by \ are good for priests, and weapons represented by | or / are not unless they're blessed.

now that is of course the best advice. Simply only \ and rest should be blessed.

And while you cant check what has what icon *in* the stores, you can step outside and use object knowledge (anything you see in the stores will be shown).

It seems to me just about all weapons in the weaponsmith are pointy and thus not suitable for Priest. So I've taken to buying weapons only from the temple and not the smith.

The way to find these files on a Mac is to right-click (or command-click, if you have an old-fashioned one-button Apple mouse) the Angband app and choose "show package contents." From there, navigate to resources->lib->gamedata, and you'll find all the .txt configuration files.
