can missiles lose their enchantment individually?

i'm not sure if i dreamed it or if it's reality, but is it that sometimes you can fire a bunch of arrows, and a few of those will lose a couple points of +bonus?

If we wanted to implement that, we'd have to make it so that quiver capacity is limited by the total number of arrows, and not by the number of arrow-types as it is now (since the damaged arrows would cease to stack with the undamaged ones). Which in turn would probably mean that we need to code a new system for selecting arrows, as the current system won't work at all if you have more non-identical arrows than keys to select them with.
