Regarding high level priests: in addition to using Heal a lot, an important weapon is the glyph of warding (a.k.a. rune of protection). You'll need to decide for yourself just how much you intend to abuse them. Laying down a row of several of them in a corridor can seriously slow down even high level monsters. Even just putting down a couple around a corner can allow you to take a number of OOD shots using the "knight's - jump - i - can - hit - you - but - you - can't - hit - me" weird LOS artifact. A great many people consider this to be abuse or cheating. On the other hand, putting down *one* rune in a corridor, or standing on a rune at the end of an anti-summoning corridor, is clearly reasonable. You'll have to decide what feels right for you.

Call me very skeptical. Maybe he meant "used ?WoR" when he said "ascended".

But, since no one is specifically asking for this advice, it might be presumptive of me to offer it (and some of the advice would be spoilerish). What do you folks think? Should I post this thread?
        Yes, please do.
