What are some of the more reliable debuffs?

    What are some of the more reliable debuffs?

    Thought about carrying a rod of sleep monsters to try to get some uniques off my tail but they seem to be unaffected. Made me wonder what are some of the best debuffs, even for the more dangerous mobs.

    In Vanilla I'm pretty sure no debuffs are really reliable/useful outside of the extreme earlygame.

      If you're playing the latest build, all are reliable. If you play the standard version (4.0 or earlier), none of the debuffs work.

        If you are playing the latest V build, they are generally unbalanced...

          Neat, what do I need to know? Can I debuff uniques? Are there debuffs that are more reliable than others? I only have a win under my belt and I barely made use of any debuffs, so I don't know much of them.

            The devices show up early, so stash them away for later, when they are rare. I mostly used stunning as a mage, since it's a side effect of area spells that also do damage (Ice storm, shock wave.) With it, the mage becomes pretty good at melee.
