Level 50 experience inverted?

So since I hit level 50, my exp counter goes up instead of down. Every kill the counter increases instead of decreasing. Is this normal? (No, I have not lost xp to a monster drain, this is literally every kill and the counter is green.)

You've hit the level cap; the EXP display can't tell you how much experience you need to gain your next level because there is no next level. Congratulations.

I thought there were 100 levels. Thanks for the info.

Isn't that always a horrible realisation, that the dungeon goes to DL 100 but you only go to CL 50
