Hi again!!!
Well lucky attempt number 199 produced my second winner ever without save scumming!! And it looks like the first Kobold Warrior winner for 4.0.5.
I had a great Priest underway when an unfortunate power outage corrupted my save file... 0% healing is very nice. I'll be trying more Priests.
This character was lucky with an early =RoS+11 and the Trident of Wrath. From dlvl 2350 he was pretty much stomping butt. Kobold poison resist was nice, but I missed the large HP's of a Half-Troll Warrior. !Con came late, but Narya really helped in that I could wear Carlammas and Hammerhand for the HP boost while keeping ESP. When I found Deathwrecker while scumming for heals after Sauron, I pretty much immediately recalled, kitted up, and went after Morgoth. I only used one Banishment from Celeborn and one mass banishment scroll, which was all I had. In addition I used maybe 3 !CCW, 2 !Heal, 2 !*Heal*, and 0 !Life. Very uneventful, but when you hitting evil for 690 Morgoth goes down quick. I was able to fire off about 25 Seeker Arrows of Slay Evil. I was really hoping to find a Sling of Buckland, but no such luck. I'd been finding quite a few of them.
On interesting twist is that I traded out the Shield of Haradrim for Anarion for all sustains. Haradrim was providing rBlind so I ended up blind and needing to read a phase door. A !Heal took me out of the HP danger zone so all went well.
Thanks again to past and present Dev's of this game that I've wasted so much time on!!!
