Most 'Specials' on a level?

I've just completed a 'superb' level at 2100 ft and received 11 'Special' items and a scroll of Aquirement. What's the most anyone's had?

I've once found 10 (but in ToME - brief narration of what happened here) with this char
Arkenstone, Barahir, Carlammas, Elendil, Evenstar, Flare, the Palantir of Orthanc, Pauraegen, Paurnen and Paurnimmen.
(13 if we count also randarts: a bolt, a basillard and a golden crown)

I think my record was about 20 (I had to leave 5 or 6 behind) - that was in a GC Vault in Vanilla at around 2300'. Nothing that overpowered - I think the fanciest artifact was Cambeleg - but at that level, being fully kitted out in articfacts was a very nice boost.

I was a Mage but thankfully, TA and Speed got rid of the 20 or so uniques in the vault - I don't think I killed any - apart from Lagduf who somehow ended up in there...

I can't really remember, but I do recall once clearing a GCV at ~dl 98 and just finding a ridiculous number of artifacts. And at that level, some of them are very, very good.

Last week I cleared some kind of greater vault (I don't know vault names) on dl45. A short distance in, I started writing down the details, because I'd never even imagined this much loot before. By the end of it, I had collected 27 artifacts (though two were the dubious sort, i.e. Crown of Beruthiel and Boots of Wormtongue). There were also ten deep uniques there, five of which I managed to kill (three or four of the artifacts below were dropped by Saruman). I gained two levels in the process.

Calling this level "superb" is like calling the Titanic "a mishap."
