    Or better shield of elvenkind. Arkenstone gives you rDark and rLight, so you get to choose between something else and pBlind.

      I got a bit obsessed with trying to get something with rPoison so I could ditch the ring in restrospect.

      Also in retrospect I should probably have just zapped Ungoliant with one of my teleport other rods - it's not like the healing potion worked (*healing* would have though - that would have been full HP recovery).

        Buckland slings can have both +2 to shots and might making them three shot x4 slings. It is rarer now that those two are separated values so there are more combos to get. When they got introduced it was nearly guaranteed that you found one with +2 to shots and might and with insane to_dam they had made them way too powerful weapons. I protested a lot about them.

        IMO they are still a bit too powerful.
        They're very rare, and good sling ammo is also very rare. A really good Sling o' Buckland (+2, +2, high damage) is a once in several games find at most it feels like.
