    Unignoring an item in 4.0.2?

I accidentally set the ignore flag on Nimthanc, my primary weapon right now, and cannot find a way to take the flag off. What key (preferably in roguelike binding) am I supposed to use for this? The ignore flag management screen accessible under = only appears to let me play with item types, not specific items.

It's the same command as ignore -- 'k'. If you've dropped the weapon and can't find it, then hitting 'K' will toggle ignoring of all items, so you can find the thing and unignore it. This can also be useful sometimes e.g. if you've ignored scrolls of Word of Recall and then find yourself stranded because your rod got stolen -- more practically, it means you can safely ignore an item and be secure in the knowledge that if necessary you can still track it down.

In addition to the overall 'k' toggle that Derakon pointed out, you can go into the ='i' menu and unignore the specific item/quality/ego that you previously ignored.

Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see.”

In roguelike, 'O' toggles unignore (show all items, including ignored ones).

In addition, you can inscribe an item with '!d' to prevent it from being dropped, even if it is on you Ignore list. I use this to keep my first ring of Free Action or ring of Resist Poison safe while ignoring future ones.

Thank you all--I didn't notice the "unignore" option when I invoked "k," or C-d in roguelike binding.

As a recent returnee to Angband--the last version in which I managed to kill Morgoth was 3.0.6, I think--I'm still reeling from all the changes. My character is at 1000' with no sign of see invisible, but I just managed to find Azhagal AND BoS+4 on the same floor! Wish me luck....

Which class? Priests and paladins get temporary see_inv from book 3. "sense invisible" is not detection spell, it gives you temp see_inv.

Right. Until a few minutes ago my paladin--up to clv28 now--had WIS of only 15, so while he can cast See Invisible, his SP wasn't high enough for him to have it turned on all the time and still have points left over for various emergency prayers during battle. Fortunately, he's since found a lantern of true sight, so see invisible is no longer an issue.
