    Mages absolutely have a slower/harder time of it for the first 2/3rds of the game or so. Mana limitations aren't really a problem; Restore Mana potions are more than plentiful and I've had 25 of them without making any special effort to stockpile. I'd guess they're about as common as Healing potions, and they don't need to be used as often. Mages' real problem is more just one of fragility and, until they get Raal's, having very limited means of actually dealing damage.

      I dunno how you manage to have enough mana Derakon. My mages ALWAYS are short on mana (and mana restore potions). The only time that is not the case is with a wand of magi and tensers greater recharge. But then the staff (staves) are blowing up pretty fast again.
      Blondes are more fun!
