My newbie experience on the game

Using the options menu (= sign), you can set a hitpoint warning so you are notified anytime your hitpoints fall below a certain percentage of your maximum. I usually set mine for 50%.

This is good, but the other thing is that then you have to actually pay attention when the warning goes off, instead of just ignoring it.

Is there an option somewhere I can set that will alert me when my blood alcohol content goes over a certain user-configurable percent? That would really keep my characters alive more than anything.

When my blood alcohol reaches a certain level an Angband defense kicks in and I wake up a few hours later face down on the keyboard.
