Term windows (as they are called) can be turned on and off from the Window menu, under the Visibility option. As standard Term-0 to Term 6 should be activated. They might have popped under the main window, if they are already ticked.

To create artifacts, you can find everything you need in:
    drive letter:\angband folder\lib\edit\artifact.txt
The id numbers can apparently be used to create the artifact, or you can use the name (careful of non-standard characters).

Punctuation is your friend. Please consider using more of it to make yourself easier to understand.

For X11 you need to add the command line options "-mx11 -- -n4" (where 4 is the number of terminals you want). If you're already using e.g. the "-u" option, then it looks like "-uFoo -mx11 -- -n4".

        HTH.

Press "=" to open the options menu, then "w" for the subwindow settings. Use the arrow keys to place the cursor and "t" to toggle which informations you want to be displayed.
