It came to mind today that two famous 'drinks' from LotR don't feature in Angband (sure a lot of things that exist in LotR dont' feature, but these match Angband items very well)
I'm wondering if an existing potion can be renamed to one of these, or a new potion added?
Ent-Draft made you big and strong, so could be Potion of Constitution. It's less obvious what it does (until you examine it or drink it), but it would also be inconsistent with other Potions of Stat. Perhaps better would be to make it to Stat Boosts what Body-Keeping is to Sustains, boosting Str, Dex and Con - drops twice as often as Potion of Augmentation.
Miruvor helped people recover from tough times. Perhaps this is to Regeneration what Mushroom of Second Sight is to Telepathy. This could make it a great pre-combat buff until you have permanent Regeneration (unless it stacked with permanent regeneration!)
I don't think we need this functionality in the game per se, I'd just like the theming to included somewhere.
