Bug 3.5 Save file crashes on load

Played this Gnome Mage without out problem until this last level. Now the game crashes just loading the save file. Tried on Vista 32bit and 8.1 64bit. Same result.

Hypothesis, Save file is causing the crash. But I don't have the means to prove it.
