ladder upload question

so I just had a winner that I wanted to upload to the ladder. Out of lazyness all my characters have the same name, so everytime I upload it will either overwrite my old upload (if I had more xp) or refuse the upload if I had less. Is there a way to rename my chars for the ladder, or a similar way to upload multiple chars that while playing had the same name?

If the character is still alive, go to the character screen (Capital C) and select change name (small c). I'm not sure if you can do it if the character has passed on, gone to meet its maker, ceased to exist, etc.

I think there's an option when you upload to not replace existing characters. That would be the simplest way.

Didn't find the option in the ladder upload. But you can modify the txt-file and change the name in there, that worked. Character is up:

It's in the char that is already in ladder.

Once you have uploaded a char in the ladder you can make it protected from overwriting. It's last item of the right panel. Not a checkbox but a link.
