    Reading scrolls from inventory menu

This might, or might not, be a bug, depending on how you think the inventory menus should work. If you have inscribed a scroll with !*, you would ordinarily be asked for confirmation when you read it. However, if you select the scroll while you are in the inventory menu, one of the options you are given is to r) Read it. If you do, you are not asked for confirmation even though the scroll is inscribed with !*.
“We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see.”
