The difference in drop quality between these versions is astonishing at high levels. I ran a debug mode Warrior around level 50 on 3.1.2v2, and more than half of the monster drops he encountered (particularly weapon drops) were ego items. 3.2.0 coughs up ego items much less frequently than that, even at level 50.
