There are at least three DSM in standard set, one multihued, one power and one balance. I don't think we need more.

No idea... That's why I added them for my variant, along with some other nonexistant armor and weapon types (Awl-Pike, Bar Chain Mail...)

Seconded - though two of them have aggravate and the other one is second only to The One Ring in rarity.

I would happily see JLE's "Mediator" replaced by a weaker single-colour artifact DSM without aggravation.
