    Nexus help

So, I just lost my half-troll warrior to a nexus swap... went from 18/154 strength to 13... and 18/idontcaretoremember&#$&" int. I went from normal speed and killing azog... to -8 speed and trouble with black orcs.

So, my question is, should I play with nexus hounds till my main stat gets swapped back, or just quit and start again... after that swap, my death was a comedic tragedy, despite dropping down to -3 speed.

The chance of getting your stats swapped back is pretty low, if I remember rightly.

Instead of just quitting, you could go on a mad dive down and see if you can get lucky enough to find and chug a half-dozen Potions of Strength before you get killed.

I actually tried to play tag with a nexus vortex- to no avail-. Tried diving for gear and died to an eventual teleport death...

not unhappy about the way I went out,,, just wondering about my options at that point.

Switch to lighter gear, get a good ranged weapon, and fight it out.

Before my Mages become powerful they rely to a large extent on ranged and melee attacks. If a Mage can do it, surely a H-T Warrior, even one with a 13 STR, can do it.

My last warrior got a STR/INT swap and went on to win. But then again, he got that swap while fighting Kavlax, who was 90% dead and, when killed, dropped randart boots with +8 speed. So that's probably not so useful.

Getting your stats swapped is low. To get your STR in pair of swap is just 1/3 chance (code just picks two out of six at random).

Problem with getting your stats swapped back is more the tendency of nexus doing various types of teleport instead.

yeh, i spent a bunch of ?recalls trying to get some levels worth anything, but came away with junk... i was way too deep for the damage I was able to dish out (40/turn iirc)... I was trying the diving style, as opposed to my normally extra safe style... so I was way underpowered.... was still a good game =D

              Edit: spelling
