    Vault symmetry

    No, I'm not Hercule Poirot, but I like when things are symmetrical. It is not currently the case with vault #40 (huge) and #48 (GCV -- only in the 3.5-dev nerfed version).

    Something like this would be nicer:

    I've also added a couple more "8" spots in the GCV to be on par with the first vault which has more "8" spots in the center part.

    IMO modified one should have same mid-section with multiple 8:s. That's about the only place in the vault that might be impossible to clear even to high-level char: when you open the last wall it is your move, and you are in LoS of several 40 level OoD monsters.

    And also IMO banishments should not work in the vaults (tele-other I would allow, especially now that it is bolt, not a beam).

      Would agree with Timo about the open mid section; I think the same thing could also be said of the similar spiral vaults.
