    vulnerabilities and kill slays

Does anyone know how vulnerabilities work in slay scheme? There are one major group of undeads that is vulnerable to fire and if I hit that undead with weapon that has both fire brand and kill undead, which one of those actually applies? If vulnerability doubles the damage it should be fire, but because kill slay has higher multiplier code might not take that in account.

I can remember how this works in v4, but can't remember whether any of the changes have been made in V.

In v4 a vulnerability adds +1x damage to whatever damage would otherwise apply.

So in the no-slays case, vulnerability doubles damage.

In the normal (3x) brand case, vulnerability would make it 4x (but of course brands in v4 are now of variable strength, but that's irrelevant to this example).

I am pretty confident, but not certain, that V simply takes the highest mult, i.e. the 5x kill slay would override anything else.

(In fact this would be the same in v4, because a 5x kill slay would trump a 4x brand-plus-vulnerability.)
