    autosquelch DSM

from quality squelching menu, the squelch "good" armor setting also squelches dragon scale mails. this seems undesirable to me, greater DSMs can be pretty powerful.

I'm running version built from github source, downloaded July 6

Playing latest Vanilla. 3.4.0. RC 1

DSM, Early early game the aoe breath attack is great, mid-late it's possible the resists
    are worth it.

I also needed to disable squelch for DSM. Over 15 games and that was the only reason I ever toggled squelch.

    Maybe worth a look.

Personally, I think it's a bug, and at the very least DSM should be in their own category. However, there is a way around it. Go to the item menu with "~" and put autoinscriptions of !k on the DSM that you don't want to squelch. (this can also be used so that you can never squelch maces of disruption, blades of chaos and scythes of slicing)

I agree with this completely. Just yesterday I found PDSM from a chest at ~3000' and it got {squelch} right after it got pseudo, which seems very very wrong. I have inscribed all other DSM:s with !k!d, but it has been ages since I have seen PDSM so I didn't have possibility to do that before finding it (you need to be aware of object type before you can make autoinscriptions).

RNG then promptly killed my char with combo of phase spiders and large pack of plasma hounds ("come hither", KO, RIP).
