Just in case anyone was wondering, 3.3.2 has now arrived in Debian Wheezy and Ubuntu Precise Pangolin (both of which are the current development/testing releases). The stable releases (Squeeze and Oneiric Ocelot) have 3.2.0

Note that it's possible to set up apt-sources so that only this specific packages comes from an unstable release. It's been a long time since I last needed to do that, so I don't really remember how, though. -
I never do it, but I know that it's called "apt pinning" if anyone wants to google that.
