      And ubuntu precise pangolin is scheduled for April 2012...

      It would however probably require yet another upgrade (currently running ocelot), which i am not exactly looking forward to.. I'll stick to my own compiled version of 3.3.2

        There is also an ubuntu specific issue that it doesn't load one of the SDL dependencies correctly. Adding this line to the makefile in the *Angband/src directory solves this problem:

        LDFLAGS += -lSDL

        (Also for the post above)....A couple weeks ago I checked the Ubuntu Software Centre and searched for Angband, and I saw three Angband packages available for download.

          True, there are currently SDL, GTK and X11 versions available of Angband 3.2.0
