Does anyone play with this difficulty setting? I was thinking of replacing it with a stores never restock option.

Do you mean the no selling option or is it an option the removes stores altogether? I use the no-selling feature, have not used one that removes stores. My first winner: http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=10138 -
IMO it doesn't this need to be a real option. If one did want to play with no stores, one could just not use the stores. I couldn't imagine anyone getting very upset over it's removal even if they were using it.www.mediafire.com/buzzkill - Get your 32x32 tiles here. UT32 now compatible Ironband and Quickband 9/6/2012.

I've never heard of anyone using this option, and agree with buzzkill that it would not really be a problem if they were. I like the idea of the stores_never_restock option."Been away so long I hardly knew the place, gee it's good to be back home" - The BeatlesComment

Maybe store prices could scale up with character level (inflation, you know), to help with the fact that after a certain point you basically have more money that you know what to do with and it no longer matters what anything costs.Comment

So, do they retain what you sell to them (if selling is on)? If their resale markup is high enough, that would make them essentially extra home storage space that you pay a fee for. It would probably need to be a hefty fee.
