    Spell Borders

    I love the new Dtrap defining feature....

    Is there anyway this feature could be added to other spells like detect evil, magic mapping etc so there would be a way that you know for sure you didn't miss a vault in the top corner of the screen?

    Although I'm not a fan of the trap detection border (yes it's useful, a little too useful), I wouldn't object to magic mapping showing ALL the granite, not just the corridor/room walls, though it would muddy the screen a bit. It wouldn't be so terrible to have it as an option (or maybe non-wall granite could be shaded very very dark).

    edit.. and when paired with Zypher's comment below, it would form a detection border (of sorts) that I could enjoy.

      I assume the reasoning for only one border is that most people fire off all of their available detects in a chain at one spot. That puts the borders of all of the detects at the same locations.

        And if you didn't, I think multiple borders would get very messy. And a border for detecting monsters makes no sense, because monsters move. I guess we could have a second border, for object detection. I think I prefer buzzkill's idea though.
