Hello, for some reason Angband will not work for me, whenever I try to run it I get the hourglass by the mouse indicating it is loading, however nothing happens. Any ideas on what's wrong? I'm using WinXP and the latest version of Angband.

I've never seen that problem. However, there is a known problem with the standard fonts on WinXP. Try running NPP (or any version with extended fonts) and see if the problem is reproducible in other variants.
Also, have you tried running it from the command line? Open cygwin or cmd, cd to the correct directory, and run angband.exe. See if there is any output to the screen.
