Too bad he didn't quaff the potions. He could have received at least a minimal amount of nutrition from them.

Using ^zfs would be the correct way of doing so. Set the borg_flag_save == 1 and it will save at the beginning of each level except when in munchkin_mode (because it is changing levels so quickly).

Also, the last few times he went down in the dungeon he did not bring very much healing (typically 3 healing + 1 *healing*) with him and believed he was ready for dlvl 101 (but not ready for the big fight?!).

EDIT: This happens again from the point of the save file if you just destroy the scrolls of enchant weapon and wait until he recalls into the dungeon.
This savefile revealed a couple of other problems as well. They are now resolved and the upload has been made.

Also I noticed the borg does not use speed potions, is there a reason for this? Would he use them if I set the worships speed flag in BORG.txt?

As I told you on your blog.
This one just hung in a throw menu.

I think this happens because he evaluates all equipment at home and when he hits something with immunity that tells him that he has both resistance and temp_resistance to that element so that he won't get any bonus to power from additional sources of this.

The same seems to happen it the borg has wielded a piece of equipment with an immunity but taken it off. He then keeps on believing that he has a temporary resistance for that element.
Your assessment is correct. The borg_oppose_fire (and other elements) was not being turned off. In addition, there are a few places where the borg_oppose_fire needs to be added with an "or" to fire immunity. I will make the appropriate fixes (and include a backup check) and get update posted tomorrow.

I also fixed the messages for the hero and the other things. There were about 5 other temp effects that had message changes. They are up to date now.

the bounce is fixed. I recognized it right away. I saw this in the zborg about 2 weeks ago and thought I made the correction for vborg as well. Basically, it wanted to flow to the stairs that were stuck behind a wall.
Thanks for the info and glad you were able to fix the issue. I also noticed something else that seems off this morning. The borg would empty his quiver shooting at a floating eye that was out of sight, then he'd recover his ammo, move back to the previous spot and empty his quiver shooting again. He did this several times before I broke him out of it.
