pvals are in angle brackets <+4,+3,+2> in the nightlies, or in ordinary parentheses (+3) in 3.2.0. Attack/defense modifiers are always shown jointly as e.g. (+0, +12) for a ring of Damage, so you can distinguish them from pvals.
