One other thing that was interesting, I went back and looked at my 1st winner post from rec.games.roguelike.angband, and all three of my winners were wearing Isildur when they won.

One other thing that was interesting, I went back and looked at my 1st winner post from rec.games.roguelike.angband, and all three of my winners were wearing Isildur when they won.

So things went a lot better for you than they did for Isildur.

LOL - The other thing I noticed was that my three winners were all female characters. I usually alternate male/female for variety, but I wonder if that means I take better care of the girls.
