    Spells vs. Scrolls of Recharging

What is the difference between the Priest spell Recharging vs. the scroll of recharging?

More importantly, will a wand/staff more likely blow up if one is used over the other?

Also, does using the spell vs. the scroll make a difference in number of charges added to the wand/staff?

If I recall correctly, the difference between the various recharging techniques (scroll, mage spells, priest spells) is solely how likely they are to succeed; the number of charges added to the item depends on the item in question. I remember a thread here awhile back where someone ran the numbers and determined that the priest recharging spell is always worse than using a scroll, while the mage's greater recharging is generally better; I don't remember how the lesser recharging spell stacks up.
