Warrior - how close am I to being ready for Morgoth?

I've posted about this character several times lately. Hopefully this is the last time I need to post for help with gear before I can post either a YAWP or a YASD. This is my 3rd Level 50, so I'd really like to do the former and not the latter.

(It helps if I include the link to the ladder.) http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=11232

I'm decked out in my aggravating gear. (Although, I just realized I can swap Isuldur for Rohirim and get 5/round w/ GoP while maintaining max HP. ToW beats it against undead, but otherwise GoP is superior even against the poison susceptible.) An experimental run where I cleared a lesser vault went pretty well, although aggravating everything nearby does keep you on your toes.

Concerns - I'm at perm speed +28/29 depending on how much ammo and consumables I carry. With the rod & potions, will I be able to stay faster than Morgoth the entire fight. I could use Cubragol to shoot with, but then I have to probably switch to "Dwarves to maintain max HP & then that mean back to Barahir for rPoison. Or I could try to get a bit more innate dex to get 6/round out of Orome which puts my unhasted speed over 30 for sacrificing ~125/round melee. (Orome ~450, GoP ~575)

    Healing - Do I have enough !'s ?

Crowd control - Do I have enough if I TO Morgoth & use =Destruction to suplement banish?

Immunities - I can cover cold and acid w/ swaps. Thorin would also put me back at max HP.

Internal stats not maxed - Does this really matter? I've actually gotten the most late game stat potions from dreads coming out of a graveyard even though I've killed as many orcs & trolls as I can get my hands on.

Uniques still alive - There are some nasties, All the angels, All the balrogs, Tarasque, Jaws of Thirst

Cleaning house - I think that with the gear I have now, I'll either be using Umbar or Cubragol. " of Dwarves just seems to be better than Carlammas. W/ Ellesar, I don't ever see wearing Belegennon or Caspanion. Am I thinking about these things correctly?

Quick update - I killed Sauron (GoP does sick damage when you're wearing =Acid), and he dropped the Feanor, so that's quite a boost to speed. (I also understand that's quite lucky.) It's almost enough that I'm considering putting on =slaying instead of =speed +9.

I think my last real question is if I have enough crowd control between ?banishment and ?destruction.

Feanor isn't lucky these days. It's pretty pedestrian in fact.

Which is a bad thing. If one of the top artifacts is common thing to find then there is something wrong in game.

As I'm sure you know, the rarity for soft leather boots was wrong in 3.2.0. (A:110 in object.txt rather than A:20, IIRC). Did fixing that not adequately reduce the chances of finding Feanor?

EDIT: Lest we stray too much off topic: I usually dispatch any dangerous uniques that are left. Maybe I'm just overly cautious, but I don't like the idea of big breathers/hitters showing up in the middle of the P fight.

Was is still lucky in 3.1.2?

I like the idea of trying to thin out the ranks of the uniques. That would give me a chance to find a few more ?Banish.

Maybe I don't like the idea of killing of Uniques (although I did get Atlas)...

              Ancalagon the Black breathes frost.
Some of your Potions of Cure Critical Wounds (c) were destroyed!
One of your Potions of Heroism (d) was destroyed!
              You feel very good.
You have 14 Potions of Cure Critical Wounds (c).
              Ancalagon the Black breathes lightnight.
              [[ NOTE: I have 6hp at this point!!! ]]
              You sink through the floor.
There must have been a Q in the area because something I couldn't ESP summoned a bunch of greater undead after I sank through the floor. I had at least had time to chug a few !, but I burned another ? 'port level to get away from them.

Phew, YASD averted, for the time being...Ancalagon certainly counts as a big breather though

I don't think so. For some reason I'm also seeing other high-level artifacts way too often. Something else than just "too many shoes" is affecting that. For example I have found Dal-i-Thalion now almost every game even after changing the rarity setting.

                  Yay!! I won.

This was my 2nd winner. I won with a Dunadan priest back in the 2.8 or 2.9 days. Equipment wise, I had way more healing than I needed. Crowd control wise, I probably got lucky. Several times Morgy summoned unique liches or demons, so I had to get him out of the way, then destruct, all without getting destroyed by whatever he summoned.

It wasn't the cleanest fight ever either. At one point I noticed that he was approaching very quickly even though I had 2 shots a round and realized I forgot to rehaste. Still I managed to win the fight.
