"The weight of your armor encumbers your movement"

    Hi,

Playing Priest. How bad is "The weight of your armor encumbers your movement". As far as I can see I only lose a few spell points.

The armour below is quite useful right now but puts the total amount of armour above the encumbrance level.

    Code:
    g) Multi-Hued Dragon Scale Mail (Dwarven) [45,+16] (+1)
Dropped by a Cave troll at 2150 feet (level 43).

         +1 strength, constitution, infravision.
Provides resistance to acid, lightning, fire, cold, poison.
Cannot be harmed by acid, electricity, fire, cold.
         Prevents paralysis.

When aimed, it allows you to breathe the elements for
250 damage. Takes 75 turns to recharge at your current
speed. Your chance of success is 80.2%
Also, on what levels do I find more the priest books? Got BH, WoW, CaB, EaD, EO. Can study another 20 spells. More if I swap for +wis weap instead rNexus.

That's it. Dwarven MHDSM is definitely worth this penalty.

Next PBs are native to dlvl 50 and deeper, approximately 10 levels per each next book.

I'm not sure, but it may affect spell failure rate as well.

Failure rate is affected by non-blessed edged weapons, but I can't find any effects of cumber_armor flag in the code except mana penalty. Obviously I can miss something.

Thanks! I do not get lower failure rate when using the armour so I think it is correct that only mana goes down, and that is a very low penalty, at least that is the only think visible.
