Quiver Question

Hey guys!

I'm a "causal" Angband player. My question is this... I use the 'h' command a lot to fire off my missles at the nearest monsters. When I have multiple types of missles in my quiver, is there a way to quickly change the type of missle that gets fired by the 'h' key?

Hi David,

The easy way to do this is to inscribe a different ammo with @f0. Ammo with @f0 automatically goes to the front of the quiver.

You can run this command by using "{" (inscribe) then choosing the ammo you want, then entering "@f0" as the inscription.

EDIT: You may need to uninscribe the ammo you previously had as your @f0 ammo also. You can do this via "}"

Also, if you always want ammo to stay out of the first slot, you can inscribe it to a different slot (e.g. @f9, @f4, ...)

Awww, perfect! That's exactly what I was looking for.

I'll give this a go. Thanks so much! I looked and looked for information regarding the quiver, but couldn't find documentation!
