    Too much stuff, too little room.

    So I was wondering what people thought I could get rid of and what I should keep. I've got a lot of nice stuff but too little room. Thanks in advance: )

    From your home, you can ditch the following:
    * Restore Life Levels
    * Heroism
    * Rods of Recall (carry instead of ?WoR)

    From your inventory, you can ditch:
    * !DragonBreath
    * !CSW (replace with more !CCW, ASAP. Buy out the temple if you have to; you should go into the dungeon with at least 15)

    I'd also recommend losing Amras and your arrows; you have plenty of good bolts for the endgame, not to mention Cubragol. On that note, you could have won ages ago if you had more healing items.

      Thingol: nothing useful in it, Anarion: if you for some odd change need basic4 from a shield get a elvenkind shield, you will be using Hammerhand in the last fight anyway, so sustains are no reason to keep this, Pauraegen: I don't think there is a better combination that requires this, Balli Stonehand: less useful than Durin. Eorlingas is a maybe. It is slightly better than Durin against evil things that Durin doesn't get a slay, but those are very rare with double-brand, slay demon and *slay* dragon.

      Swap to Durin now. You have excess speed: over 28 speeds you get diminishing advantage from any more speed, 36 is actually only two points more than 30. Calris is probably best at final fight, Durin to kill Sauron (acid brand). You need to increase Calris to_hit though.

          If I had more speed rods I'd get rid of the staves...and you hit the nail on the head with Amras. I had a couple of cases where I could have used the speed boost but I was waiting for the rod to recharge: ( I will get rid ofthe weapons that you suggestedd though.

            Yeah, speed rods (and healing rods) recharge way too slowly to be useful. Unfortunately, if they recharged more quickly they'd be overpowered. As it is, I'm not certain it's worth dedicating the storage space for 'em since you need more than one but you find maybe one every two games...

            I do think it's worth stashing !speed in the home as soon as you find your first _speed, though. Potions can't be charge-drained, so they're extremely handy for the last fight.

            In general, you seem to be horridly low on consumables. What happens to the !Healing, !*Healing*!, ?Destruction, !Speed, !Mana that you find during dungeon trips?

              Since you're at 4900' now, I'm not sure I see the need for the scrolls of deep descent, unless you're using them as a form of teleport level...

                I'd use combination of Taratols activation and rod of speed. Combined they give quite fast recharge. Also with 30+ permanent speed you don't actually need any more speed, haste is necessary only when slowed down (like from brain smash or inertia attack). Speed is no issue for you now. You can stack those staves in your home instead: 10 of them weight a lot and slow you down. You should be moving at speed 39, but you are moving at speed 36.

                Actually with those BoS you can get rid of that RoS as well and use whatever you want in there instead. That would require to use something else than Dal-i-thalion for rConf though. And swapping in Soulkeeper would lose rElec and that nice activation from Celeborn. Holhenneth or Crown of Gondor would solve rConf. Maybe Amulet of Magi instead of Trickery, but that means losing +4 speed and then we are back to square one without rNether.

                  I endorse Derakon's advice. I would carry rod of speed despite recharge time. I would not carry blessing. I don't carry disarming to begin with, but you have 99% so certainly not. I would not disarm summon traps though and avoid trap doors if I can.
