I was thinking, considering the ability to resist/negate most of the other annoying attacks monsters have, does anyone think there should be a way to resist drain charges? It's personally my most hated trait. Even a maxxed out warrior with full resist/immunity has to drop his wands of teleport other, staffs, etc etc, and risk them being burned. Saving throw doesn't seem to have an effect. I suppose AC might, but I can't imagine many scenarios where anyone would have (pre the very end-game) enough AC for these attacks to miss even most of the time.
I'd tentatively suggest it come in under disenchantment resistance - that way, it's still a big problem, but your fully developed legendary cuisinart doesn't have to hide his wands between his legs just because a beholder starts looking at him the wrong way.
