I recently got two weapons but I'm not sure which one to use. One has 3/blows but the other has only 2/blows, but it seems better. Here they are:
The Rapier 'Forasgil' (1d6) (+12,+19)
Slays animals.
Branded with frost.
Provides resistance to cold, light.
Cannot be harmed by acid, electricity, fire, cold.
Combat info:
3 blows/round.
With an additional 0 strength and 1 dex you would get 4 blows
Average damage/hit: 33.1 vs. animals, 36.7 vs. creatures not
resistant to cold, and 29.4 vs. others.
The Pike 'Til-i-arc' (3d5) (+10,+12) [+10] (+2)
+2 strength, intelligence, speed.
Slays demons, trolls, giants.
Branded with flames, frost.
Provides resistance to fire, cold.
Cannot be harmed by acid, electricity, fire, cold.
Sustains intelligence.
Slows your metabolism.
Combat info:
2 blows/round.
With an additional 2 strength and 1 dex you would get 3 blows
With an additional 0 strength and 5 dex you would get 3 blows
Average damage/hit: 50.2 vs. demons, 50.2 vs. trolls, 50.2 vs.
giants, 50.2 vs. creatures not resistant to fire, 50.2 vs.
creatures not resistant to cold, and 30.8 vs. others.
I'm thinking all the bonus's outweigh the 1 less blow per round. I would appreciate anyones input on this since I'm not very good at this game and I've got a decent char going.
