    death, followed by...?

    Having just lost *another* character (ethereal dragon, dl47), a question occurred to me: when a character dies, why do we have to quit the program and reload it to be able to start a new character?

    can't we just have an option to start a new character? not that it's that much of a mission, just seems odd...

    I'm guessing it's easier to exit and restart than re-initialize everything.

      The game has never been made re-entrant. There is an open ticket to do it one day, but it's never made it to the top of anybody's priority list.
