First Ever Retreat

I agree hounds are evil. I was playing TOME, had destroyed the ring and was going down int Angband to kill Sauron. I recalled down to level 98, detected and found that I was in the same room as a pack of water hounds (In the dungeon angband in TOME the monsters are leveled, they are stronger, faster and do more damage....these were KILLER water hound). About half of them breathed and I died.

Ahh... ToME and its leveled monsters. Don't get me wrong, I love ToME, but I always did feel that L50 chars dying at the, err, "hands" of leveled White Icky Things was a bit ridiculous.
