      I had one of my chars killed by Lesser Balrog the Nalfeshnee impersonator that got summoned by Demonic Q while I was beating Dwar the violet Dog lord of Waw.

      After that I made a lot of work to fix the monster colors. Newest nightly dev-version has them in official version.

        Another crashing bug - h/fire/target

        Super rarely (2 or 3 times in the past month, playing daily for hours), and in a way that I can't intentionally duplicate, 3.1.2v2 crashes on firing ammo. My instinct suspects targetting is the culprit, but it's just a guess. (at least once, maybe more times, it was targeting things off my visual screen..?)

        Thankfully 3.1.2 saves game state every depth change so I rarely lose much of my progress.

          I've triggered that more than once but could never quite pin it down. I think it's got something to do with making a "wishful thinking" attempt to h-target round a corner when you're too far back to actually do it. If I remember rightly, it tends to happen on pressing h in something roughly like this situation:

            Nope, I can't reproduce that - pressing 'h' just results in "No available target.".

            If you can reproduce this in the latest nightly, please open a ticket at trac.rephial.org and attach the savefile from just before the crash can be reproduced.
